Do I need to have a contract?

It is strongly advised that all potential employers do place contracts between the employee and themselves. A contract should consist of the following, hours and days of work, duties and responsibilities, holidays and sickness pay, pay rise and disciplionary procedures. Interview tips!

At the interview aim to get as much personal and professional information about the candidate as possible. Having a list of questions can be useful. (Please contact the agency if you require any assistant). If the candidate has been successful in the first meeting, organise for him/her to meet the children. We advise you to arrange for the potential candidate to participate in an activity so that you can see how they interact with the child(ren).
