Nanny Smart offers a wide range of candidates from Filipino, Asian and European usually aged from 22 – 50 years, with 2 years minimum professional experience and checkable references. A large majority of candidates have work domestic visa’s. They are eligible to work in the UK, in private households as a domestic worker. Once their Visa expires, they can renew if they provide a supporting letter from their employer. After 5 years of work, they can apply for permanent stay. Role duties ands responsibilities:

A professional Housekeeper will manage day to day housekeeping duties, keeping the house organised. Candidates with drivers licence and childcare experience are flexible to assist in these areas. Housekeepers can be flexible to travel with families in and out of the U.K. Examples of typical duties: cleaning, washing, ironing, hovering, cooking, silver polishing, flower arranging, sewing, shopping, outside errands post office, dry cleaning.

Days/hours of work

This can vary depend on families needs and if the position is live-in or live-out. Candidates are flexible and happy to work 55 hours a week over 5.5 days a week and can include the weekend.

Salary:

Housekeepers are employed on the same basis as any other employees. As an employer you have the same legal responsibilities as a commercial employer. Live-in housekeeper working 5.5 days a week: £350 – £400 net per week

Live-out housekeeper working 5.5 days a week: £400 - £450 net per week

Part time housekeepers can be both live in and out. The hourly rate is £9 - £12 per hour.
